Really liked the property. Room was good, bed good. Parking was TERRIBLE! Gridlock trying to get in and out and multiple cars not able to park in the lot. When asked other parking lots we were directed to go to a municipal lot and then walk through the basement to access an elevator in the convention center entrance... (if the city left the door unlocked), if not then find a stairway and walk up two flights of stairs to enter the building...so much for ADA...

Mr.Ortega at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He was kind and welcoming and helped so much during a very hard time for my family. I can’t thank him enough.

The staff make the difference. Wonderful and attentive. The hotel itself looks older, but it is clean. The room was dark and quiet, despite being downtown. Definitely eat at the in-house restaurant and get the enchiladas Christmas style. Breakfast seemed a bit overpriced, but the coffee is excellent.

We always stayed at Double Tree by Hilton. When we first checked in we were given a handicapped room.. Nothing wrong with that but, give it to someone who needs it, also the bathroom was dirty (someone's old soap was left for us) eek. But then I spoke with Mallory(spelling). And she changed a unhappy situation into a good one. Moved our room, and the next one was very clean. And not handicapped. The other issue we had was we told the front desk lady we didn't want housekeeping and to add to our points and none of that was taken care of. So I think the communication wasn't there. The pool was a big problem tho. It's so small, and kind of dingy. Couldn't get a lounge chair for 5days, or even a regular chair to sit on... I'd say upgrade the pool area. It needs it. Thank you for the great Albuquerque experience.. We loved it there in general..

My dad and I have not gotten along so well ever on a trip. The hotel staff and atmosphere really helped and made the stay there absolutely wonderful. The bar staff needs applause for sure. Comicon was being held next store and it was a blast
